Location…Location…Location, you hear it all the time from Real Estate Agents
Location…Location…Location, how YOU sold your listing faster
A couple best practices for Real Estate Professional on how to locate, and relocate social media content and advertising
Post – You cannot sell what they cannot see. If you are listing a property using social media, it should be posted where people are located online. Currently, this is Facebook. A secondary method would include listing across multiple platforms to reach the greatest possible number of people. (Provided that you have an existing usable audience / example - Twitter, G+, Pinterest).
Like – It is the simplest way to show that a post has interest. This activity usually activates triggers in algorithms that are utilized by social media sites. In turn, the content that has been “liked” multiple times is more likely to rank higher in searches and/or feeds.
Comment – Is the most comprehensive, and helpful best practice when using social media. Monitoring comments made by others, and commenting yourself can help clarify content, answer questions, and encourage discussion(s) about your listing.
Share – Utilizes the ability to exponentially expand the reach of your listing organically on social media. You have friends, your friends have different friends, and so on… Encourage your friends (and their friends) to share the post/tweet/video/pin about a listing on their social media platforms. This will naturally advertise the listing to a like-minded group within a general area.
Implementing these social media techniques into the marketing of your listing will contribute to your success as a real estate agent.
